Just 30 minutes from Schoodic Peninsula, an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and an hour and a half from Canada, this secluded site offers a peaceful retreat 200 feet from the road, surrounded by woods for added privacy. The 25-acre property features trails, woods, and an animal farm with chickens, ducks, goats, and a rooster. The site includes a gravel RV area and a large concrete pad for tent setup. Enjoy the amenities of a large charcoal grill and a fire pit for outdoor cooking and relaxation, with a bundle of firewood and half a dozen farm-fresh eggs included. Additional firewood and eggs are available for purchase. Situated in one of the most desired areas in Downeast Maine, the farm also offers stunning sunrises and sunsets. Take a leisurely bike ride on our quiet, paved country roads, or explore Maine's largest ATV trail, the Sunrise Trail, easily accessible from the property. You can drive your ATV or UTV on local roads to reach the trail, which offers hundreds of miles of terrain for camping and hunting. In Cherryfield, you'll find several amenities, including a coffee shop where you can enjoy breakfast and lunch by the Narraguagus River. The nearby seaside town of Milbridge also offers a variety of amenities, including restaurants, gift shops, and a local grocery store, all accessible by ATV. Milbridge hosts summer activities like free live outdoor music concerts at the marina. Please note, there are no bathroom facilities available, so you will need to bring a portable camping toilet or dig a latrine.
