I spent my birthday week at this cozy abode and would recommend it to all. The cabin has some pretty snazzy new furniture so that it has a modern feel to it. The kitchen is stocked with tools, but there is a grill and a campfire if cooking indoors doesn't appeal to you while you are out camping. The cabin is also quite spacious, offering several bedrooms, but we only needed the one. The netted porch is fantastic and was a great place to enjoy each sunrise and sunset from. If you are staying during warmer months, don't be shy with bug spray. We brought our own, but there were many cans on premises when we visited (deet and deet-less). I didn't have many questions for Rebecca, but her responses were very fast!
What I was looking for was a quiet and comfortable stay away from the city and I found it here. Not far from Chicago and granting entry to a beloved state near great hikes, the lake, and breweries :D
