Welcome to Oak Ridge Farm, a passionate labor of love owned by Mike and Joyce. Nestled on 80 acres in Mid-Michigan, our ever-evolving hobby farm is a place of warmth, charm, and endless possibilities. When you visit, you'll have the chance to meet our sweet goats and sassy chickens, each adding personality to our little slice of paradise. With big dreams for the future, we’re excited to share our journey—and our land—with you. One of our favorite spots on the farm is our campsite area, a true retreat in every season. Each time of year brings its own unique beauty, from vibrant fall foliage to peaceful snow-covered landscapes. Wildlife roams freely, the views are stunning, and some of the most breathtaking sunsets reflect over our pond. Imagine waking up to a golden sky, birdsong in the air, the scent of woodsmoke, and a warm cup of coffee in hand—pure tranquility. We live full-time on the property and are always nearby to offer assistance, answer questions, or simply share a friendly chat. You’ll likely see us tending to our animals, working in the garden or greenhouse, or cruising around on our golf cart. We love meeting new people and take pride in providing top-notch hospitality. More than anything, we hope you don’t just visit Oak Ridge Farm—you leave as friends. Places to see and things to do: - Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, Mt. Great spot for camping! Joyce and her family have done a fantastic job setting up their property for guests that it honestly felt like a mini State Park. It is well-marked with lots of signs. Would be a perfect place for star-gazing, but it was cloudy when I was there. They have a few short trails on their property, but there is also a gate to State Forest, which gives one access to a lot of land to hike on. Firewood is for sale on site and one can pay with cash or digitally. Chickens and goats on the property and saw many deer.

Great Place, better host
Tent
My Wife and I had a great time tent camping for the weekend. Joyce and her Husband really did go above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay. The views from site were awesome, the farm animals, trail to walk, and an awesome lake to fish made it a fantastic trip!

The property is beautiful! The campsites are well spaced. The host provided a lot of ideas for activities in the area. That was very helpful.
