All to yourself
100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
9 acres of secluded woods with a maintained trail right off the Coldwater River, good for Kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Plenty of trees for shade and setting up a hammock. Good stargazing area at night! Across the street there is a county park, Riverbend Park, it is well maintained. Has a volleyball net, cornhole boards, horseshoe set-up, play-sets, pavilion and grills. This park also has access to the Coldwater River for even more fishing spots. I am currently trying to add a couple more spots this season and include a honors system farm stand with farm fresh produce, veggies, eggs, ect. Once the fruit trees and and bushes start getting established and bearing fruit, there will be a u-pick section as well coming in the future seasons ahead! 3.4 Miles from town where there is a grocery store, 5 miles from a dollar general. 15 minutes to Coldwater, MI. 35 Minutes from Battle Creek, MI 45 Minutes from Kalamazoo, MI.Riverside Campsite is a nice grassy spot with plenty of trees for shade, right off the Coldwater River where you can Kayak, Canoe, and fish! Guests may explore the 9 acre woods, the slope is the end of the woods. Riverbend Park is in walking distance of the campsite.

Positively Perfect!

I had the absolute best experience staying here. Josh was a wonderful host, and incredibly kind and helpful. He is an absolute Michigan Treasure of a human being. I showed up with an incomplete hammock and Josh kindly lent me his so I could enjoy my sleep. His kindness made my experience so much more enjoyable than sleeping on the ground (which was wet). The property is stunning. Lots of space to roam and explore. I will be returning often.

I absolutely fell in love with this site. Right beside the river, surrounded by trees and wild life. So quiet although it is near a road. I would stay a week if I could. If I am in the area again I will definitely stay a second time. Thank you Josh D.

Location looks great and is private! So much potential! Host is friendly and great with communication. However, the mosquitos were unreal! Literally, the worst we’ve ever experienced. We left a few hours after arriving and less a can of DEET. Hoping to have another go of it when the bloodsuckers are gone for the year.

Me and my friends loved tent camping at Stay and Daze! Josh is the nicest person, he welcomed us great and even left some wood for us. The place is pretty fun to explore around and the river was nice
