Our family has lived on this farm since the late 60's.
George worked in a shoe factory and brought home the shoes and boots that weren't up new standards and started selling them from an old chicken coup.
We no longer sell seconds, we sell new men's work boots here, and online.
We have 11 acres of woods, with a creek running along one side. You would be roughing it old style, primitive camping, plenty of firewood, and secluded. No drinking water available so bring it with you. You would also be pooping in the woods like natives. Enjoy the simple things here.
The property was great and the hosts were awesome. They offered options either by the lake or in the woods. I opted for the woods. Fond a nice spot and had a great time.
The location is beautiful and serene. A great getaway from it all. Randy and Barbie were fabulous hosts and the farm is huge. We highly recommend a consultation with Barbie.
There is no shade in the main camping area and a fire pit would be nice. There is tent camping available in the woods that we will try next time.
Overall, we highly recommend a stay here,
