We have owned this farm for the last 30 years slowly helping it evolve into a gem of sustainability. The market produces herbs and vegetables and there is a 3 acre warm season native grassland prairie with forbes and flowers. This gives us the opportunity to educate those who visit on how to raise their own herbs vegetables and to the major benefits of the prairie. we are adding another 13 acres to the prairie in the next 2 years.

Camping at Karen's farm offers a delightful experience, cherished by many for its picturesque views and welcoming hosts. Visitors frequently mention the beauty of the prairie, the serenity of the farm, and the warm hospitality of Karen and Jason. The farm's setting is perfect for those seeking tranquility, with highlights like the fire pit, walking paths, and various nearby attractions. A few campers did note the proximity to the road, which may affect noise levels, but overall, the farm remains a favored choice for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
Met camping needs.
Would have been more pleasing to have mowed the campsite or weeded around the fire pit.
A little too strict on dog leash policy when no other campers around and the owner's dog ran freely around production beds.
Trails are mowed paths in a field.
Friendly owners.
We absolutely loved the property! It is so genuinely peaceful and welcoming! Karen and Jason were incredibly accommodating, kind, and caring! 10/ 10 would recommend staying here 😁
The farm was a lovely place to stay. Karen was an excellent host, very accommodating and had very clear directions. There was a lovely walking path right next to our campsite on the farm that I recommend. We would definitely stay here again.
This spot is magical. Karen and Jason were incredibly welcoming even though I came in a little late - I had a beautiful view of the prairie and their farm. Slept amazingly, will definitely be back!
Beautiful, peaceful small farm site with prairies to walk through. Karen was so kind and provided tons of recommendations for things to do in the area! we went swimming at Stone Lake down the street. It was beautiful. the fire pit was wonderful, too. thank you karen!!:)
