Universal Center welcomes all! 🌟

I’m so happy to find Kim’s campsite at Universal Center! This Hipcamp is such a beautiful and serene location, and Kim is a very welcoming host! I learned after booking that Universal Center is a non-profit & official safe place that is open to the community for spirituality and healing. Definitely check out Universal Center on Facebook! And if you have the chance, do ask Kim about what makes Universal Center so special! I enjoyed getting to chat with Kim about Universal Center’s community impact and how it has touched the lives of people from all walks of life! 💫 I van camped on a weekend in December, and I was pleased to have access to a personal bathroom (toilet & shower) inside the center through a separate entrance. The property sort of sits on a hill and is surrounded by vast farmland, so the night sky looks incredible from here! The horizon is much wider and I saw more stars here than ever before. There’s also a bunch of curious outdoor kitties that like to hang out around here, so it was nice to have their company while camping too! I was able to join in Kim’s weekly Sunday group meditation and left feeling inspired by my new friends whom I met here! I’ll definitely be back here to visit, stargaze, explore the surrounding nature, and see the nearby beaches of Lake Huron! NOTE: Navigating to the property is via Google maps a bit off, but just keep going along the gravel/dirt road until you see the big “Universal Center” sign out front! :)

Kim was so warmly welcoming to us we felt right at home. The land is green and sweet and the bathroom facilities a nice bonus, with a toilet and hot shower available. We had plenty of room to park our truck and 12' trailer on the grass, lots of room to turn around in.
