Our property North Ridge Pines is often known as The River Farm and our family became stewards of this unique and beautiful rural farm in 2014. It is a rare combination of deciduous and pine trees, prairie meadows that bloom in mid summer and fall, a small section of the LeSueur River as well as a small pond. Our goal is to provide a small private camping get-away spot in nature for you to relax. We have 4 sites where you do not see the other sites from your location. We have a few lawn games such as bean bag toss/corn hole, croquet, as well as a canoe, 2 person kayak, and a paddle board to enjoy on the pond. The pond does not have any fish. Life jackets available for youth and adults. The River Farm once owned by Ulysses S. Grant and purchased from former Speaker of the House Rod Searle's family. It was nicknamed the Jewel of Waseca County because of it's scenic area of the LeSueur River Valley, rolling hillside and diverse topography. Remote valley offers peace and quite with a few frogs, fireflies to enjoy in the summer nights. Pets are allowed at the sites, but for safety please be with your pet or have your pet on a leash when here. Thanks.

Site 2 The Pond
Daniel and his lovely daughter went way out of their way to make sure we got there through some confusing GPS directions, and delivered everything they promised. The site is gorgeous and and Daniel is an amazimg human being. We will definitely come again and reccommend to our friends.

Incredible site, better hosts
Jane and Daniel were the best hosts we’ve had. They were so welcoming and thoughtful. We have a dog who is afraid of thunderstorms and they started problem solving with us the second rain rolled in. If the hosts hadn’t already earned the full five stars, the site (The Pond) would’ve done so itself. Incredible site with even better hosts. Make sure to bring your big repellant!

Site 1 The Pines
Great hosts!
Dan and Jane were very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had a plesent stay. We could not get our RV to level out at the original site we booked. This was due to the ground being soft from all the rain. Dan came right back out and helped move us into a spot where we could get level. They even gave some games and toys for our 2 young kids to use throughout our stay. Very welcoming folks! Even offered us to come back for a free night since it rained majority of our trip. Would recommend staying here.

Site 1 The Pines
Dan and Jane were wonderful hosts! They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed but otherwise let us be, which was perfect! The site was clean and fairly secluded. We had a great time!

Camping at a peaceful place
We had a very nice time at Daniel's landing. Dan and his wife were very helpful in our stay. They were very responsive, the place was peaceful and a pretty place to stay. We saw wild turkeys, heard owls at night, and the fireflies were very pretty in the night time. Dan was very nice. He brought us some firewood, and we were even given some fresh asparagus from his place to take home. You will have a very nice evening here, and we would highly recommend Daniel's land for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in the countryside. It was excellent.

The Pond
My family stayed at the Pond. It was a very large and private spot. Daniel was a great host. He had some boats and bean bag toss that kept the kids entertained. We had a great time. It was easily the coolest camp spot we've had in MN
