Full hookup RV site on a natural environment lake and 2 acres to spread out. The site is just a short drive on a well maintained gravel dead end road. The bay is very shallow so unfortunately fishing and swimming are not recommended. The view of the lake and gentle slope to the lake make it a perfect setting for your RV. For reference, the site is roughly 25 miles west of Alexandria, 90 miles north west of St. Cloud and 155 miles north west of Minneapolis.2 acre private lake lot with full hookups for your RV. The RV in the picture is for example only and is not included in the listing. 30 amp 220 volt and 20 amp 110 volt electrical, water, & sewer. Lake access with dock in shallow bay. Public boat landing & swimming beach one mile away and paved bike trail 1/2 mile away.
Over 2 acres to stretch out. The lot has a few small trees but is otherwise wide open with full sun. Minnesota near the lake means bugs & mosquitoes, so arrive prepared with bug repellent! The lot is one half mile off of the tar on a dead end gravel road, so there is very little traffic. No boat landing onsite, but there is a nice public landing one mile away. Our shallow bay might accommodate smaller boats, but larger may not want to dock at the lot. Swimming isn't recommended from our lake access as our bay is pretty weedy and muddy. The public beach 1 mile away on a neighboring lake is a much better option for swimming.
Lake access with dock in shallow bay. A raised fire ring is provided and firewood is available for purchase as an add on to this listing. There is a shed on premise that will be locked and cannot be accessed. The RV in the pictures is for example purposes only and is not included in the listing.
There are no trash facilities onsite, so you will be required to take your trash with when you leave. One RV per booking only please.

Firewood bundlegood

Bring the graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate and leave the firewood up to us. Gather around the fire and enjoy your stay!
This is an oversize bundle of slabwood. It is dry and lights and burns easily, but not too fast.
This campsite offers a spacious and peaceful environment, perfect for those seeking tranquility by the lake. Guests appreciate the large, well-maintained grounds and the privacy it affords, with many noting the presence of open spaces ideal for pets and activities. While some mention the occasional noise from a nearby train or neighbor's music, overall, the site is described as quiet and relaxing. A few reviews point out minor inconveniences like bugs and off-leash dogs, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

We absolutely loved this private site! It was perfect to play fetch with our dog and hang out by the camper. We also drove down to the beach and went for a swim! It was great and would definitely come back to this site again.

The site was nicely mowed and very inviting. Kids loved flying kites in the wide open space. Definitely will be an annual spot.

Great place to camp! Was a good chunk of land plenty of room for us to camp in our tents and be spread out!. Wasn’t too loud either neighbor was a very nice older man he stopped by to say hi and invited us over to sit In the shop and listen to music with him. Lake is pretty weedy and muddy but if you go out by the tree that’s in the lake it gets pretty sandy and is only about waist deep. Overall great experience and would definitely go back again!.

It was a nice flat open lot. There are no campers on either side of you. The neighbor to the west played a little music in the evening in his garage but it wasn’t too loud and it was from the 60’s and 70’s which I enjoyed.

Nice site. Great host.gnats & dogs.
21 ft travel trailer
We were beyond thrilled to find this VERY reasonably priced site with full hook ups for the busy 4th of July Holiday weekend.
This is a one camper site on 2 acres which is nice because our dogs are nervous around loud and continuous fireworks. There were people around. But, it was MUCH quieter than a busy holiday campground.
2 things to be aware of 1) gnats which were thick. bring bug spray. There were a lot. Which wasn't a big deal for us as we were looking for more of a "base camp" and not a "stay and play".
2) The other thing to be aware of is there are some loose off-leash dogs in the area I counted 3 for sure
there was one dachshund, especially that visited us a few times and barked at us (alerted) quite a bit with or without our dogs present. I love dogs and. Our dogs are pretty good with other strange dogs .but if you have a dog that might be reactive to this, don't leave them outside even for a moment unless you're sitting right there.
Russell was very generous with the firewood and our $5 bundle was more than enough for our fire. He was also great to work with.. We don't have a huge rv but if you had a large camper this is a very nice flat site and it would be perfect for that the hook ups are very nice and well maintained and clean.. There was a lovely view of the lake which we enjoyed and there was a dock but we never made it down there to use. Overall this was a nice space easy to set up the hookups were lovely the price was very reasonable. Great host.
