Easy access to hundreds of miles of trails and gravel roads in Mark Twain National Forest for hiking, biking, ATV / SXS. Multiple fishing ponds less than a mile away. Come and explore Missouri's best kept secret!
The campground has 8 campsites, great for RV or tent campers, nestled under old-growth oak trees for shade & protection during the hot months.
Campsite was as described. Plenty of cleared space for tents, a fire pit, and picnic table. The outhouse and covered picnic area were available for everyone. I felt safe and it was a beautiful location.
Drove 6 hours here to camp the night before the total solar eclipse. It was awesome and super peaceful. Only complaint is I wish I lived closer because I’d come here more often. Available firewood was a major plus as well. A lot of leaves and small sticks on campsite but not difficult to clear.
Had another great time camping here, thanks again!
