Cliff Side (BLUE)
Peaceful place
Chris's land was peaceful. We enjoyed a nice quiet walk up the hillside from the Cliff camp spot along the fence line. When we got to the top, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the valley and the river and train tracks. We also enjoyed having the trains go by, they were quiet trains and moved slowly though the valley, and this added to the ambiance of his space. We could tell he puts a lot of care into his campsites and wants to be as accommodating as possible. We would enjoy camping here again as a pass through spot between national parks.

Cliff Side (BLUE)
I had a really great time here. Chris was very nice and super responsive. He met me at the gate and showed me where I was staying. It was beautiful and very well kept. There were people at the two other sites that I barely noticed. There was room between the sites that I didn’t even see them. I had a good time walking around and it was very relaxing. The only thing I would add, and this isn’t a negative…there is a small decline down the hill to the Blue site (didn’t see the other sites). Would be difficult if you have mobility issues (chair, walker, cane). Easily doable for most people though.

Cliff Side (BLUE)
Great location with lots to explore
Lovely property. Friendly folks. Really appreciated the outhouse set up with recycling bins with the trash. I stayed at CliffSide Blue in spring. I took advantage of the wood and the propane fire pit which was really nice to have.
Lots to explore around the property & beyond.
It’s close to Buffalo Jump $ Lewis & Clark State Cavers. Also close enough to Bozeman if you wanted to go to Bozeman Hotsprings or something else. The river is close by if you wanted to fish, float, kayak.. but you could also spend a whole day exploring the area. It looks like there’s a bike train on the other side of the train tracks? So if you want to bike that’s an option too!
The train will definitely wake you up. I’m a deep sleeper & it got me. But I went right back to sleep no biggie. It is pretty cool to see the train round the corner.
Tiny Creek is the most private away from the other two campsites & seems the most protected from the wind. (But probably the most mosquitoes. Lots of options for where to put your tent at each site.
Was given safety information & provided little binder with property information. I’ll bet it’s lovely in the summer.
