Winter activities: Located 30 minutes from Seeley Lake and 20 minutes from Missoula. Access to skiing, dog sledding, ice skating, ice fishing, and snowmobiles. Thousands of miles of trails on public land on the same road! This is a hunter's paradise. Loads of public land just a mile from the property line. Located 3 miles from the blackfoot river for prime fishing! Summer activities include hiking, floating the river, fishing, swimming. Located about an hour and a half from Flathead Lake. Less than 2 hours from Glacier NP. Kayaking and canoeing. Any activity you can dream of is at your fingertips! This unit is located in a tiny house village that has 3 units and sleeps 10 total. This unit (TH1) has a queen bed and small sofa and sleeps 2. We are located in a mountainous treed area. 4WD may be necessary during winter/spring months to access the property. Feel free to inquire on road and weather conditions! The private toilet facilities are located a short distance from the tiny house and feature a solar shower and composting toilet. Solar showers are provided during summer months (May 1st-winter) unless requested otherwise. A fire pit is available outside of fire season. We have Verizon cell service and have cell service on the property. However, cell service is not always available in the surrounding areas. The tiny house is located in range of a rooster. Or a couple geese. The morning crow or honk is part of the experience! Battery chargers are provided. Bring your USB cord. This is an OFF GRID experience. So, there is no electricity or indoor plumbing. However battery operated lanterns and flashlights are provided. Coffee and tea supplies are available in the unit with a camp stove, pits and pans, dishes and a French press and tea kettle. Solar lights can be operated by the switch on the back of the panels on the front porch. Each unit has a personal parking area. We are 12 miles from Kettlehouse Amphiteather and 3.5 miles from the Blackfoot River. A great spot for those wanting to float the less populated but more adventurous Blackfoot. Pets are welcome but must be leashed and please be bear aware. I would die if someone’s pet was killed by a mountain lion. We have bear, wolves, coyote, mountain lions, and the occasional elk or moose visit. Maggie, the Pines’ resident pest of an Airedale, may pay you a visit, but be warned that she will drink your coffee. She’s delightful and friendly, but a stage 6 clinger for sure. A simple text, message or call will ensure she is removed unless you just want the company! If you need the comfort or civilized nature of the Hilton or Ritz, this experience is probably not for you. If you are a dainty fragile flower of a human, I’d love to make you some tea but…this experience is probably not for you. Glamper, know thyself. If you know your heart to love adventures and quirky new experiences, we are here for you, ALL. DAY. The only checkout instructions are to close the door behind you and have a great day!
