2.07 acres with private river access to the humboldt river. Surrounded by the beautiful Ruby mountains and 9 local hot springs with miles and miles of hiking and atv trails. Unit 1 block 4 of the river valley ranches with private river access for fishing, hunting with proper permits okay as well. Beautiful area. * Very primitive!! No lights on property, no signs as of yet. Two acres of uncleared land, with River access. Please be prepared to camp.Please read description prior to booking to make sure this is okay for your stay. Very primitive, NOT a campground. Pitch your tent or park your RV or vehicle and enjoy the surrounding Ruby mountains and private access to the Humboldt River for fishing and or swimming. 9 natural hot springs and hundreds of miles of trail head for horse back, atv, mountain bikes, hiking etc. Raw primitive wilderness with amazing views and complete solitude from the small town of Elko, Nevada.

Hi! Unfortunately, we’re not able to stay at Ricky and Kristi‘s land due to an unforeseen scheduling problem. Their communication was excellent and we look forward to staying at their wonderful property someday in the future. Thank you, and… All the best from Jeanne and Robert… Hosts of glamping in the redwoods in Occidental California.

Property description is misleading

One of posted pictures shows a tent in a camping location in green grass near the river. The property is actually in completely undeveloped sagebrush well away from the river and river access is a long way from property through mudflats. The blurry picture of sagebrush on the website is the most representative of the property. It is very important to note it takes a while to get to the property via sandy rutted dirt roads off the main highway, so if it rains you will need a 4WD vehicle to get out. (The listing does recommend 4WD) We had difficulty finding the property from the given description which mentioned a property sign. Despite riding completely round the very large property we could not find the sign. Texting the owners they said just camp anywhere. We had to squash sagebrush to park our vehicle as there were no signs of previous parking we could find. Other campers had also struggled to find the property previously as reported by some people we asked on a nearby property.
