Rent RV Campsite In Elko Nevada

This was my first time using hip camp, we are traveling and all we need is a place to stay. We are self sufficient and don’t need much. The host did not respond to my request for directions to the camp. So I had to find another place.

Never actually found the spot lots of private property signs And the road it told us to tank was completely crazy.

I didn’t make it to the property. There’s about 2 miles of washboard gravel road, then the narrow dirt road to the property is loose sand with a decent uphill grade. This wasn’t apparent to me in the listing description or the photos. My 24’ class C spun wheels and dug holes at the turn onto the dirt road so I headed out once I got turned around. The area has gorgeous views and is out of the way, so as long as you’re set with a rig that can handle those hurdles I recommend giving it a try.
