We have a few acres to enjoy on the south Oromocto river. You can go for walks, top water fishing, have a fire(😄🔥FIRE WOOD & FIRE STARTER INCLUDED🪵🔥😃), bird watching, nature, star gazing, and the sound of the river. Wildlife such as deer, ducks, beavers, otters, eagles and many others are frequent visitors. A turkey or chicken may wander over from the homestead some days too. 🦃🐔 It glitters most nights with hundreds of fireflies sparkling everywhere. There is a picnic table and fold up grill on site. Fresh eggs, bread, buns, and BBQ, are available upon request. Advanced notice for these and the shed/bunkie are appreciated please. Nearby there are ATV trails, ice cream, takeout restaurant, a variety store, 6 waterfalls. The water levels on the river increase and decrease according to seasons and rainfall. There are two houses by the river on the right and no houses to the left for over a km. There is a train that you can hear in the distance and some people noises some times, but mostly, paradise. 🤗The site faces the beautiful Oromocto river. Sometimes it's very shallow and rocky and others it's fast moving and high. There is a big firepit to warm you at night and a compostable outhouse on site. Find a spot to pitch your tent, small trailer or choose to stay in our tiny 8 by 8 shed/bunkie that sleeps up to two. It will fit a double camp cot or air mattress. No other campers will be on your site, although you may see an ATV or a person who lives along side the river from a distance.

Cozy Riverside Getaway!
Tent
I had an amazing stay at this cozy spot by the river! The campsite was well-kept, with plenty of firewood and a great fire pit to enjoy. The toilet was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of the experience. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, making the process smooth and hassle-free. Honestly, it was even better than I expected. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Mel and Ken’s land is an absolute gem. Nestled on the banks of the Oromocto river, you can literally cast your line out of your tent and be grilling your supper in no time. Very private, nice little trail to walk along the shoreline to access various fishing spots or to just cool off in the water. Massive fire pit as well. Great experience.
