First off Maudie is an amazing host. From the pre cut fire wood, to the welcome book. Maudie is organized, communicative and super friendly! We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again in the future. The land is peaceful, quiet and quaint. We planned to visit some nearby towns but found ourselves not wanted to leave our perfect private little campsite! We laid around all day in the sun, listening to the birds and enjoying our little peaceful piece of heaven! Thank you Maudie for opening up your land for others to enjoy. We had an amazing time!
We’d 100% recommend Maudie and her campsites to family and friends alike!
This was a beautiful, private camping spot. We actually did need a bit of help to find it but enjoyed the solitude once there. And the hike to the ‘Ledge ‘ is worth it for the spectacular view. We arrived just a bit too late to hike there for the sunset but spent an hour just drinking it in the next morning!
I only had a brief stay, but Maudie was an excellent host. She was helpful, informative, and even helped me transport firewood and water. The campsite was quite nice, features a beautiful maple tree, and I was able to park close to my tent. My favorite part was the local hiking trail, which ended with a great vista. Good value, would visit again.
Words really won’t do this place justice. Come and visit, follow as many of the suggestions as possible and experience the magic for yourself!
We loved Camp Jack!
