If you’re seeking privacy, tranquility, and rejuvenation in the woods, you’ll find it at Camp Jack. Relax and enjoy your spacious private campsite in the scenic fields and apple orchards of our homestead, surrounded by hundreds of acres of private conservation woodland. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the delicate beauty of spring wildflowers blooming, take a meditative walk along mossy trails through the lush green shade of the summer woods, drink in the endless views of fiery autumn colors across rolling hills, or experience the magical fairyland of the Great North Woods in deep winter snow. Our homestead is located at the edge of the White Mountain National Forest, with its endless outdoor recreation options. It's a 10 minute drive to charming downtown Littleton with dining, breweries, shopping, seasonal farmers market, and Ammonoosuc River trail. 25 minute drive to Franconia Notch State Park, with access to Cannon Mountain skiing, Mirror Lake swimming, the Flume Gorge and Basin trails on the Pemi River, and 800,000+ acres of White Mountain National Forest hiking that includes Appalachian Trail access. 30 minute drive to the start of the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, which is gorgeous in any season and famous for fall colors. 50 minute drive to Mount Washington, highest peak in the White Mountains, with its famous auto road and cog railway to the summit (summit road open summer only). Whether you're a hiker, cyclist, fisher, hunter, leaf-peeper, snow sports enthusiast, or simply searching for peace, quiet, and natural beauty, the White Mountains offer something for everyone.

First off Maudie is an amazing host. From the pre cut fire wood, to the welcome book. Maudie is organized, communicative and super friendly! We absolutely loved our stay and will be booking again in the future. The land is peaceful, quiet and quaint. We planned to visit some nearby towns but found ourselves not wanted to leave our perfect private little campsite! We laid around all day in the sun, listening to the birds and enjoying our little peaceful piece of heaven! Thank you Maudie for opening up your land for others to enjoy. We had an amazing time! We’d 100% recommend Maudie and her campsites to family and friends alike!

This was a beautiful, private camping spot. We actually did need a bit of help to find it but enjoyed the solitude once there. And the hike to the ‘Ledge ‘ is worth it for the spectacular view. We arrived just a bit too late to hike there for the sunset but spent an hour just drinking it in the next morning!

Peaceful Pines at Camp Jack
I only had a brief stay, but Maudie was an excellent host. She was helpful, informative, and even helped me transport firewood and water. The campsite was quite nice, features a beautiful maple tree, and I was able to park close to my tent. My favorite part was the local hiking trail, which ended with a great vista. Good value, would visit again.
