This magical chalet is nestled along a fishing stream. Take some time to unplug and relax. Great hiking and biking! No cleaning fee! There is no electric, solar lights provide adequate lighting at night. There is no Wi-Fi, no running water and no shower. There is a porta potty located under deck. In summer we host a community garden and summer camp for kids. Children, pets, campers (no hookups) tents and campfires are welcome. Keypad lock allows for access anytime after reservation begins.Enjoy 2 beautiful aces of gardens and stream front property. Relax and unwind inside first floor of chalet. No running water, no electricity, no Wi-Fi. Porta potty located below chalet deck. Camping stove for cooking. Propane stove for warmth. Solar lights to get around in night. Outlet to charge phone. Keypad entry for anytime arrival after reservation begins. Enjoy the evening stars. Chalet sleeps 8. Double bed, 3 cots, couch, hammock, string bed and mission bench. The morning starts as early as the rooster crows. Watch for the eagle by day. Great trout fishing, license required. Bikes and kayaks available with advance notice.

I wanted to love this location so much due to the other reviews, but unfortunately we just couldn’t. After reading the rules, we learned that the chalet was shoeless inside, our son got a nail in his foot, which then ended up a ER trip. When we were cleaning up to leave, we found multiple thumb tacks on the floor. Almost all the fishing poles were broken, or severely tangled, the small cot had 2 huge red stains on it (questionable) - We then learned to throw any trash out it cost $20. The site says “off leash” for dogs, but it’s right off a road where people FLY down, so we kept ours on a tight watch, and our kids as well. The creek was very beautiful and relaxing and by far the best part of the trip.

A TREAT it was to stay in this Chalet. Me and my partner were looking for a quiet getaway and I was very inspired by what this space had to offer. Not only is the inside incredibly cozy, but there are so many provided games and activities to partake in. Being that it is December we didn't get to enjoy too many outdoor activities, but roaming the land was still lovely. We slept like baby rocks in the bed and awakened to beautiful natural light pouring in the glass windows. I'm already plotting the next time we can book a stay here and even bring some friends along. If you are going in the Winter, dress warm for the inside as well. The gas fireplace doesn't reach every nook and cranny of the Chalet causing some areas to be cooler. Other than that book your getaway and find some peace ☮︎ PS. When night falls, step outside, look up, and get lost in those stars.

Wonderful cabin, beautiful land

With pets

Renee's cabin was wonderful and Renee was a fantastic host! The cabin was well-stocked with dishes, pots, lots of toys for the kids, interesting things to read and more. The nearby creek was a delight and there were plenty of other nice outdoor treats like a hammock, a firepit, a garden, and some friendly chickens too. The gas fire made it nice and warm even on a cold fall night. The double bed was a luxury and made for a great night's sleep. I had a wonderful time with my 4 year old and my dog and I'll be back!

Awesome site, good rate!

Group trip

This was an amazing choice and absolutely what we wanted. We had a great time with little to no fuss. Campfire spot, a stream, ample space for tents, and indoor sleeping. Plus visits from a bunch of chickens who are sweet and not intrusive, they're just kind of hanging out. All in all, awesome experience. Thank you!
