Our campsite is private, quiet, and beautiful, alongside a crystal clear stony-bottom river, just as it emerges from the mountains. With only one allocated camping zone the river is exclusively yours to enjoy. Camping, fishing, relaxing, and catching up with friends, you have 5 acres of river frontage all to yourself. Located 4 hrs from Sydney this is an ideal place for a weekend getaway, the perfect place canoeing and fishing. Put your canoes in up river at the Kimbriki Rd bridge, and then spend the few hours enjoying the river as the current brings you downstream, right back to your campsite! Or just cruise around on a stand-up paddle board directly from out front of your campsite. Although our campsite is never boggy (even after heavy rain), you will need a 4WD to access the spot and make your way back out again. There is plenty to do in our area. Explore Beautiful Comboyne, the Rainforest at Wingham Brush, the Ellenborough Falls (a jaw-dropping 150 meter falls, with viewing decks & long and steps to a pool at its base), or Potoroo Falls (set is a beautiful rainforest valley), or just head to the beach at Old Bar and catch a wave. Only a few minutes from the local Coles and Cafes at Wingham, you're not to far away from supplies and good coffee. Your camping/van area has a bin, and a camp toilet is provided. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed, out of respect for the working farms to the north and south. A campfire is allowed during permitted times. There is loads of dried kindling and small logs around the property otherwise byo. Beautiful spot to relax, with wildlife and bird watching. Please use bins supplied and leave no trace. Access is by a farm track that can be slippery, and so although you do not require high wheel clearance, you will need 4WD. Other things to note: - Fishing is according to DPI regulations, and you assume all responsibility to do the right thing. - Check-in is 2 pm Check out is 12 pm. - A place for enjoyable quiet catch-ups but NO LOUD PARTYING PLEASE. If you would like canoes or standup paddle boards, they can be rented for $40 per day, and this includes a life vest. A bond of $100 is required to cover us if you lose a paddle or similar. If you hire canoes and would like us to drop you and the canoes off at Kimbriki Bridge, this can be arranged in advance and is complimentary.Private and secluded, the entire river frontage is yours! Choose which spot suits you best, kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. The river valley is stone with soft grassy meadows. Water is available 100m up the river bank at a tap beside the track, in sunlight hours when the solar pump is operating. Fill up your tanks before you head down to the campsite.

We enjoyed our stay at Riverside. The spot was a beautiful opened area right along the river. Great for fishing and water activities with easy access to the river. There is a fireplace and bin. There was enough room to fit our camper trailer on a flat area. Great host and spot, we would definitely go back.

Pure serenity!
Tent · With kids
Such a great spot right on the river with spectacular views, all to yourself. We had the best time with our 6 kids over the summer school holidays. The site has plenty of room and the fresh water river made it easy for washing up and camp showers. The owners even provided kayaks to keep everyone entertained on our stay.

Great spot by the river! Very quiet, beautiful river to kayak down or have a dip in. Jeff provided kayaks which was a great activity for our stay. We stayed in mid summer and it was lovely and cool at night too. Not far from wingham where you can get a nice pub feed, otherwise plenty of room on site to cook.

Camping next to River 💯
Tent · Group trip
The location was just fantastic. We were group of 11 people camped literally next to the river. We really enjoyed our stay, had a chance to experience the star gazing. The best part was the location was no other group was present during our stay so we enjoyed at the fullest. Clear instructions were provided by Jeff how to go to the camp site and where was toilet, etc. Definitely recommended. Thanks Pritam

This is one of the best camping spots we have been to - and we have been to quite a lot!! Quiet, private, and peaceful spot right beside the gently flowing river. Watch and chat to the friendly locals cruising past on their kayaks or tinnies searching for local Bass, cool off in the little eddies and ponds that are naturally formed by nature, and then relax by the camp fire at night as the stars come out across a big sky. The owners of this site are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Access is easy but 4WD only through the working farm down to the river. Camp set up is easy on a well looked after and cleared area right next to the river. Forage around for firewood which is plentiful (thanks to Jeff the owner for creating a stockpile) and setup the campfire in the designated area then sit back, relax and enjoy the ever changing chorus of wildlife. We loved this spot and will be back for many more weekends of downtime. Highly recommended.
