The best camping near Ellenborough Falls guide

Overview

About

Almost hidden amongst the lush greenery of Manning Valley in the Barrington Coast, Ellenborough Falls is a sight to behold. With a drop of over 100 metres, the cascading waters of the magnificent cascade create a thunderous roar as they plunge into the depths below. The surrounding area is filled with native flora and fauna, making camping near Ellenborough Falls ideal for nature lovers to take in the beauty of this natural wonder.

When to go

The best time to visit Ellenborough Falls is during the cooler months from April to October, when the weather is pleasant for hiking and the water flow is robust. • Check the weather forecast before your trip, as the steps to the falls can become slippery after rain.
  • Wear sturdy footwear and bring water, especially if you plan to take the walk to the base of the falls.
  • Ellenborough Falls does not cater for people with access needs due to the natural terrain.
  • No camping facilities are available at Ellenborough Falls; however, nearby towns offer accommodation.
