True isolation with a view
Tent
Loved staying at James's place at Burra Burra Ridge.
The best things about the site are its true feeling of isolation, feeling far from neighbouring properties and with basically no passing traffic; and also being propped up on the ridge allows for amazing 270-degree views down over the nearby valleys to the north, east and south. Aside from the local sheep, spotting wildlife like the galahs, roos, and the call of the kookaburras was about the only noise you'll hear - a true escape from the city. Sitting by a fire or cooking on the (provided) table overlooking the valley at sunset was magic.
The location was also great, being a stone's throw from nearby Taralga, and only about an hour from Goulburn for anything more major required.
If I had to nitpick, it'd be great if the site were a fraction more level (with a RTT I had to be a bit strategic). Also, not a fault of the property, but being on the ridge you are somewhat exposed to the elements (read: wind) so some planning and consideration are required there.
Would happily stay again. 👍🏼👍🏼
