Located in the beautiful Wiarborough Valley, Forestvale Farm sits on the border of Gundungurra and Wiradjuri Country with the Blue Mountains National Park, Mares Forest National Park and Wombeyan Caves at your doorstep, plus conveniently located on the Bicentennial National Trail, come and escape to the peace and quiet of the country, but with the convenience of great coffee and restaurants only minutes away. We look forward to meeting you on arrival and showing you to your campsite on our working property depending on your vehicle and camp setup, weather and location of stock. Some sites are 2WD accessible via gravel or dirt road, and some sites require a capable 4WD particularly if you are towing a camper. All sites have lovely views. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Fill your days swimming in the creek, exploring the property on foot, on mountain-bike, set up yabbie traps in the dams, or sit back and relax listening to the abundant birdlife that calls Forestvale home and keep your binoculars and camera handy for the visiting wildlife including wombats and kangaroos. Forestvale Farm is a working farm and you are welcome to view whatever activities are happening during your visit, or head out beyond the farm gate to visit the Taralga Zoo, stock up on fresh organic produce grown by our neighbours, dine on hearty pub dinners in town, or fish for trout on the Abercrombie River just up the road. Campfires are permitted (subject to prevailing bushfire risk conditions) but please speak to your hosts before lighting one. They must be kept contained and at a reasonable size. Pets are welcome but must be kept restrained at all times to protect stock and wildlife. Guests will be asked to leave if their dog is not restrained. Please note mobile reception is limited in the Wiarborough Valley. What a great opportunity to switch off and enjoy your holiday. No hunting allowed.Welcome to Forestvale Farm. All our camp sites are fabulous for different reasons, and your site will be selected for you based on your camp setup, farm activities and weather. We limit our farm to two bookings at a time, and do our best to separate the groups to limit your interaction so you can experience the true Forestvale peace and quiet.

Firepit. Notify us if you intend on lighting a campfire. Firewood is permitted to be collected from the property but use only what you really need, ie no bonfires! Please do not put glass or rubbish in the fire as animals visiting the site on your departure may get cut. Be sure your fire is extinguished before departure - use water! Check several times to be absolutely sure. If a fireplace is still warm, it is NOT out. Don't just cover it - dowse it with water. Fines apply if campfire is left unattended throughout your stay or smouldering after you leave. We are surrounded by bushland and good neighbours, so don't be the campers that burn our valley.

Connecting the city to the country. As the sun sets over the Wiarborough Valley, join us for an evening drink paired with a selection of local produce. We would love to share what we have learnt about the history of Forestvale and the valley, and how we choose to farm regeneratively - the different principles we are applying to look after the land we are custodians of and why. This laid back tour where we encourage you to ask about our new life in the country will take approximately one hour either in my vehicle, or tag-along with your own 4WD to a suitable site on the property. We look forward to sharing our place with you. (Tour subject to weather suitability).

From the moment we booked, the hosts went above and beyond—sending a calming playlist to welcome us, sharing a detailed map packed with activities and locations to visit, and letting us introduce ourselves to their friendly cows and horses. Waking up to jaw-dropping sunrises, savouring golden-hour vistas, and stargazing under a sky ablaze with constellations (complete with shooting stars!) felt like pure magic. Our dog adored exploring the open fields, and the hosts’ genuine hospitality made us feel like cherished guests, not just campers. If you crave unique, dog-friendly escapes on private land with soulful touches and breathtaking scenery, Forestvale is the place for you. Already planning our return to this starlit paradise—thank you for memories! 🌄🐶🌌

It’s hard to even describe how beautiful and lovely this place is! Nadine and Andrew are the best hosts - so helpful and gave great tips and advice on the best places to camp on the land and where to see the best scenic sunsets. We had such a relaxing time. There is so much natural beauty with the land and the animals. Highly recommend it - you won’t be disappointed!

Simply amazing! Beautiful views with lovely and accommodating hosts. Nadine and Andrew went out if their way to ensure we had a great time, their communication was 2nd to none. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Forestvale is such a beautiful property. We had the space entirely to ourselves with sweeping views across the valley. The farm is secluded and private, but still a short drive to visit Wombeyan caves or Taralga. The hosts were very welcoming. We will definitely return to Forestvale again.

I wish this place could be kept a secret but it’s already out there. It is beautiful, spacious, primal and relaxing. Nadine and Andrew are amazing hosts and beautiful people. Can’t wait to get back there hopefully for a longer stay
