Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are working small family farm only 5 km north of Orange and home to the Williewarrina Poll Hereford Stud. With an ample vegie garden, we are happy to supply you with some of our in seasonal produce, fresh eggs and home made bread for breakfast. We offer only one spacious camp site at a time with stunning views overlooking grape vines to the east of our farm. After a busy day of visiting the vineyards of Orange you are able to relax around the campfire (as long as there are no fire restrictions) and take in the serenity. If you wish, you can accompany us on a cattle experience with both our herefords and highlands, feeding and grooming them (weekends only). You are welcome to try your luck in our dam if you have your own fishing gear. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, as do our neighbours, so please keep them under control. Unfortunately we don't have any toilets or amenities at this point so you will need to be fully self contained and take your waste away. The Bull Paddock is a small paddock adjacent to our house paddock. It has easy access for all types of vehicles - it even has access for a semi trailer given it has the loading ramp for the cattle yards in it. There are lovely big trees for shade, view over the Ross Hill vineyards and we can sell you a heaped wheel barrow of fire wood. There is a tap for non-potable water next to the cattle trough. Unfortunately no toilets or showers. You will need to take your waste with you.

Great country campsite

We had a wonderful family camping trip in the Bull Paddock. Sam, Craig and their kids made us feel so welcome on their property. We enjoyed watching the family work with the cattle, wandering the extensive veggie patch and being given some take away produce. Our dog enjoyed having the paddock to roam around. A pretty outlook across to the neighbouring vineyard. We appreciated the wood pile which we pre purchased and had a terrific campfire each night. A little bit of traffic noise from the road but it didn’t bother us too much. Close to the town of Orange if you forget any essential items or want to visit the wineries. Would recommend this lovely property. Thank you Sam for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable
