Location, location! Wotif’s top 10 Aussie Town of the Year Award recipients for 2025 has Stockton Beach (Anna Bay) Port Stephens as the No:1 for a tourist destination. Only a kilometer away from Anna Bay shops, Tavern, restaurants, 4x4 access to Stockton beach and Birubi Beach. Activities include camel rides, horse riding, 4x4 tours, quad biking, sandboarding, golfing including putt putt golf, surfing and surf school, dolphin cruisers and so much more. About 3km from One Mile Beach, Boat Harbor and the remaining beaches are all within 20min of location. All types of vehicles can find a place within Waves 'n Ripples to camp from RV's, cars, 4x4's, AWD's, and camper trailers. The property has a scenic outlook in every which way with undulations, and a wonderful ridge line separating the North (Waves) & South (Ripples) side of the property. The North ridge only accessible by 4x4's & AWD's currently. There are areas with shaded cover under trees, and wide open spaces for those wanting to soak in the sun and have their own ability to shelter (awnings, tents, gazebos etc.) . Limited spots available to ensure no overcrowding. There is plenty of space & places to walk within property with family or mates and take in the natural beauty while looking out for birdlife, wildlife and star gazing at night along with the very best sunsets on Birubi beach to savour your day. You got 'a love Anna Bay. There is a strict fire ban as designated by NSW State Gov. from September 31st 2024 to March 31st 2025. Gas products are allowed for use. No toilets, running water or power on site. Take with you what you bring including your rubbish in respecting the land and environment. Andrew's land was a true discovery ! Well maintained massive property with ample space to feel alone and uninterrupted. Lots of native trees to provide shade, many birds-unforgettable kookaburras concerts and a kangaroo or two to complete picture perfect! We have enjoyed long walks in the morning, Lazy afternoons and stargazing at night. Andrew's hospitality was beyond description-friendly ,approachable and discreet! Andrew's land is conveniently located (walking distance) near Anna Beach shops and amenities . And did I mentioned it is dog friendly !!!!!!!!! Thank you for our amazing holiday !

Walk to beach, tavern and shops

Andrew is establishing large level camping spots on his 66 hectare property, great for family get togethers and quiet and peaceful. Walk to the back of the property and you'll find a small creek. We liked the fact you could feel like you were miles from nowhere but in fact can walk to Burubi Point 20 mins and to the local tavern/ cafes and shops in 10 mins. Spar grocery store and petrol station also within walking distance.

We loved our night here and Andrew was such a helpful and friendly host. The site is close to town, but super quiet and restful. The only issue was the price. At a $149 a night for no facilities it was the most expensive stay of our whole 2 week trip up to Byron, including powered and even ensuite sites. The beauty of Hipcamp is it's affordability, which unfortunately this site wasn't. Apart from that it was lovely and just what we needed before the last push home.

Great host with really good communication and hospitality. He gave us many options to choose and guided us through. Nice and calm place to camp. Many things to do around the spot. No any toilets or other sanitary options. But worth for the price.

Best place to stay. Host is very welcoming and helpful with anything you need. site has lots of open space with pubs and servos only a short walk away. Good spacing between others so noise isn’t a problem. lots of open space to set up. Stockton beach only a short walk or drive. highly recommend!!
