We're a small property in the little village of Bundook. 2 hrs from Newcastle. There are lots of wild parrots, wallabies and even the occasional freight train tooting as they go by. We're just a 15 min drive to the beautiful Manning River at Tiri for swimming and kayaking where there are even white water rapids for the adventurous.
Our camp site has peach and loquat trees, for the picking, with weeping willows filled with wild birds.
Unfortunately no camp fires are permitted during the summer months but we're just 25 min from Gloucester and Krambach where you can enjoy the local pubs for evening entertainment and great food.
Loved camping here. The hosts were so welcoming and good at communicating with me. The site is lovely and clean. It is also close to a railway line so get the occasional freight train rolling on by. During the night it’s so peaceful and hear all of the wildlife in the surrounding areas
Great experience camping at Shady Willow. The toilet was really clean and had a great time under the stars at night. Thanks to Lindsey for the ice lollies and the tip on the nearby swimming spot as well.
