Nomadic camping

Off-leash friendly

Toms Creek runs through the entire property with many secluded areas to camp along side the creek. We have a working cattle property and breed Hereford cattle, they will be roaming around freely on the property. Beautiful views from the top of the hills. No through road so only local traffic. Quiet and tranquil.Easy access from Tilbaroo crossing road, set up next to the creek. Plenty of room to park, set up your campsite and explore the bush, or relax in the shade with the tranquil sounds of running water. Cattle will be roaming around the property, they will keep to themselves but you might have an inquisitive calf turn up to have a sticky beak.

Gorgeous rolling hills, and creek
6 m pop-up camper · With pets
We spend 4 nights at Wongabindi, at an absolute gorgeous spot at the creek, which was flowing strong after the rains we had. There is a good flat spot near the creek, if you however are with more then 1 van, it's challenging to get your van level, as it is quiet sloping. Louise is a great host, and we had the privilege meeting the whole family one day. The area is beautiful, we went for a ride taking Tom's Creek road to Ellenborough falls, the falls were majestic, and the ride was also impressive (4WD strong recommended). Having lunch at the Long Flat Pub in their beer garden is definitely wort while too. If you are looking for secluded single private camping spot, Wongabindi should be considered.

Small creekside secluded site
10 m pop-up camper
Louise and Michael are delightful hosts, and have a rolling cattle property with (permanent) Tom's Creek cutting through a paddock valley bottom. A serene camp-site with cicadas, frogs and cattle the only company. Total seclusion, with good shade. A bit of a slope, with room for one camper trailer levelled out with a single wheel ramp. Unimproved site, which is fine as campers have cleared the site enough to work for a single camper to small family. Fire scar on site, but better to bring your own firepit, which we did on Louise's suggestion. The creek had reasonable flow, and best cooling off was sitting under the mini waterfall right next to the site. Perfect on a hot day. Quarry reserve best for 4WD (high range fine) and light camper at most. Hipcampers valuing privacy and serenity will appreciate. About a 15 min drive south of Ellenborough on the Oxley Hwy. Good gravel road access, but remote so would suit the adventurous touring the hinterland, perhaps planning to travel the Oxley Hwy, or explore the winding gravel road from Ellenborough to Wingham. We stayed 2 nights, and suits a one or two night stay, recommended for that.
