Amazing Adirondack Mountain Retreat, secluded among the trees fronting on the Hudson River, keep alert and you may see the bald eagles, deer, geese, turkey and other wildlife that call this home. Close to Lake George and Saratoga in the Adirondack mountains foothills. Perfect romantic getaway or just a place to relax and get away from it all. You will have the campsite all to yourself with no neighbors. Perfect to let the kids enjoy nature. Off site, guests can enjoy an array of local attractions and activities. Take a steamboat cruise, brave the thrilling rides at The Great Escape, or walk through a thrilling wax museum in Lake George Village. Grab a bite to eat at a Saratoga restaurant or shop along Victoria Broadway. Together, Saratoga Springs and Lake George have everything to make a memorable family vacation.You can't beat this!!!! Drive right up to this spectacular riverfront campsite in your 4WD/AWD vehicle. Literally a stones toss from the water, away from main highway, down a scenic private road. This is the only campsite on 42 acres and it isn't in a backyard or pasture. There are no neighbors and you may only see an occasional kayaker or fishing boat pass by. Perfect for kids to enjoy nature. Former Tentrr site earning 94 Five star reviews Campsite is very well equipped with cast iron cookware, dishware, silverware, camp towels, dish soap, tea pot, all the things you need and some you didn't even know you needed. Main safari tent has queen bed with a real mattress. (Bring your own bedding) There is now another platform with second safari canvas tent, also with queen bed with a real mattress, and its own propane heater. This second tent is included in the daily rate. two extra tents are available to set up if needed. Two Coleman cots available as an add on cost of $10 each per trip. Two burner gas cooktop with a Coleman Coffee Maker and weber grill available as $20 extras for entire stay. Don't fret about what the weatherman predicts, we all know they are mostly wrong! And there is no need to worry about rainy weather as there are Ritzy Rain Repellers over the camp kitchen, the dining room table and the front porch. Downed wood and kindling available for the picking. Dry firewood available on site for purchase for $5. per milk crate. Floating raft to fish from or just sit and enjoy the view. New addition is a 6 x 20 floating mat that several people can enjoy at the same time. You can practice walking on water. For your convenience and enjoyment there is a Coleman Bluetooth speaker, Coleman flashlights, Coleman lanterns, two Coleman fans all with rechargeable batteries., plus Coleman camp chairs. You can also recharge your cell phones, laptops, anything with a usb charge cord with the Coleman rechargeable batteries. Village shopping just 2 miles away, Outlet mall, Painted Pony Championship Rodeo, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Lake George and Saratoga all within about 15-20 miles. Horseback riding, golf, hiking, rafting, sandy public beach, all just minutes away. There is cell service, and you are welcome to use my Wi fi. You won't have to bring your trash home as Camp Keeper takes care of bagged garbage and recyclables. Two Kayaks, Paddle Board, 2 person kneeling canoe, pedal boat, tubes available for use for extra $20 each add on costs. If I haven't provided something that you really, really need, let me know and I will see what I can do. I aim to make your stay the best trip ever. Easy to get to, just 8 miles off Exit 18 of I87. For those that have visited the Riverfront Ritz, there have been some great improvements. The REALLY ROCKY ROAD is now BARELY BUMPY!!! The ground around the tent has been rearranged so that there are actually some nearly level spots to put chairs and such. New stainless steel kitchen sink and countertop, new kitchen floor and new bathroom walls. Shower stall is now near the main tent near the #1 loo which is in a real porta potty building. Now two canvas safari tents both with queen beds for extra privacy and comfort. You will be flabbergasted Site guidelines; Bring fishing gear, don't forget river shoes and bug/tick repellent, tiki torch fuel. AND YOUR OWN BEDDING. A 4x4 or AWD with good ground clearance will get you to the doorstep, decent ground clearance SUV type with good traction tires to within 100 yards, Low clearance (less than 6 inches) a half mile walk, but I can help transport supplies to campsite with my pickup/UTV to help you get settled in and return at checkout to transport your stuff to car. For ease of use and camper safety, this site features a thermostatically controlled propane tent heater that will keep you toasty all night without having to get up and stoke the fire! Relax in cozy comfort without the hassle of a wood stove.

We loved the Riverfront Ritz. Rita's camp has everything you need to enjoy camping on the Hudson River. Kitchen was top notch. Rita was very easy to communicate with for anything she didnt have fully stocked. The road to the campsite was definitely a challenge so make sure you have a higher clearance SUV or truck. Thanks for a memorable weekend!!

Another amazing stay at the Ritz!

Group trip

This is our third year visiting the Ritz! Another amazing stay! It’s your own private oasis! Beautiful scenery! Rita is awesome to chat with and is so accommodating! Some fight lights of our trip were a beautiful rainbow, English muffin pizzas over the fire, kayaking and shooting stars aside from all the priceless memories created with my parents and my niece! We will be back next year!!!

Group trip

Riverfront Ritz was a magical campsite. As a first time camper this site exceeded our expectations. Rita had everything we needed and more. The site was secluded and the views were stunning. This place has everything you need, tents with beds, plenty of seating, fire pit, burner and grill; loo and shower…literally everything! Definitely a spot we will soon revisit! The path to get to the campsite was a bit of a challenge since it was rocky but still made it with my AWD Toyota Camry. Def 10/10 rating!

Riverfront ritz! A perfect getaway

Riverfront Ritz! It is a wonderful private place if you want to enjoy a nice peaceful getaway. I was there 2 years ago through Tentre and since than Rita, who is a great super host have made massive upgrades and made it a lot better than it was already. Last time i was there, I stayed for 5 days and couldn't manage to catch a single fish but this time in one day, I caught and released three big ones 😍 best moment of my life EVER! am definitely going back again and would highly recommend this spot to others!
