Nice host but not ready for campers
Tent
The host was very welcoming and friendly, but the site seems misrepresented on HipCamp. The tent site is located quite close to the house and struggles to accommodate campers. The restroom is located in the host's actual home and is accessible by walking through their private living room and kitchen. The lawn surrounding the campsite is quite littered with discarded little tyke's toys, an old trampoline, and an old boat. Ultimately, we had to find a new camp location last minute after arriving, as this site was unable to provide the camp site as indicated on HipCamp.

Peaceful
Tent · Group trip
Simon was helpful with directing us to the property. He met us with a smile and showed us to our site. We attended a local concert and returned to our camp afterwards to a stack of firewood. It was perfect. The only suggestion I would have it to cut a path for the site. My shoes were soaked from walking through the tall grass. Other than that, we loved our stay. It had a great view of a winery and was extremely peaceful.

Simon and Anat's property is a beautiful spot! We arrived in the dark, but were so glad to get some views in the morning! Simon met us on the road with a light because it was hard to find the driveway. And Simon was so generous! The toilet on the site was being cleaned, so he offered us the toilet in his guest house. This is a perfect, peaceful little property with great views and a great host!
