Best Camping Trip
The property was absolutely beautiful and the outdoor amenities were perfect. Rob was fantastic and went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. We can't wait to visit again.

There are positives and negatives
There were things I loved about this campsite (rented the dome tent with lovely cushy sleeping pads and a heater, there is a sink with running water, and the campsite host, Rob is super), and things I did not (the campsite IS next to a stream, but the stream is adjacent to the main road, the porta potty was pretty darn full, and there is really no where to take a walk from the site). It might be a great spot for other folks, but it wasn't a good fit for us.

We really enjoyed camping on this property. The amenities were nice , being next to the creek was definitely a plus. Will definitely be back soon.

Couldn't have been more perfect
The best campsite I've ever stayed at, period. It's extremely well kept and clean, the sites are far enough apart to maintain privacy and peacefulness, and the property is beautiful. The caretaker Rob went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and comfortable with a storm coming in and he recommended lots of things to do in the local area as well as shortcuts and cool spots not commonly known of. The location is perfect and the creek is absolutely perfect. I couldn't recommend it more. The convenience of having wifi as an option without cell service makes it feel safer in case there's an emergency and the outdoor shower is great to have. 10/10

Wouldn’t Recommend Site 3
The pros of this place are that Philip and Rob were communicative, Rob stopped by to see if we needed anything, and the amenities were well maintained.
With that said, I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay at site 3. First, you’re camping directly behind the shell of a barn that houses the bathroom, shower, kitchen, and chicken coop, so there was pretty constant foot traffic just behind us. Second, if you’re planning on car camping, you should know you basically have to drive through the barn that houses the amenities, with a tree directly in the middle of the exit to get to the camp site. It was doable in a Subaru Outback, but would be tight to get through in larger SUVs. Third, they overbooked the property during our stay, so in addition to sites 1 & 2 being occupied, there was a family camping 20 ft. from us. That meant we had basically zero privacy and was really frustrating with a nervous/reactive dog. Finally, there are also two Airbnb cottages close to site 3 on the property not listed on Hipcamp, so that meant even less privacy and more foot traffic.
All in all, I wouldn’t stay here if site 3 is your only option unless you are fine camping in between a chicken coop and a porta john and don’t mind having pretty much no privacy. Definitely avoid if you are bringing along a dog that is reactive (or really even just anxious at all).
