A perfect location for GS riders wishing to ride nearby forest service roads between TN and NC! In the meantime, picture yourself meandering through idyllic mountain-framed grounds of an old 1,000 acre dairy farm located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. On each side you are surrounded by some of the most stunning flora in the Eastern United States. Plants include Goldenseal, Ginseng, a variety of ferns, Trillium, Mayapple and Ramps. As you make your way up and over the hills, Hickory, Walnut, Tulip Poplars and majestic Oaks surround you. Ridgeline views are amazing and the sunset is unbelievable! Cool off in the Big Ivy River before settling in by an old dairy farm with rock silos. Book a tour on a rough terrain vehicle or go mountain biking before settling back into your campsite. This site overlooks a 1900s historical dairy barn with rock silos. It is easily accessible with a van or car on a short gravel driveway. A covered picnic shed and fire pit are included. There is access to Wi-fi and it is only a short distance to a portable toilet. There are incredible mountain views from this site. You can easily start a hike or bike ride from this site without having to drive, and stop by the river on your way back to your cozy camp.

Delayne was a fantastic host and ensured we had everything we needed for our two nights camping. Additionally - the property was beautiful and we were able to explore all it had to offer. I highly recommend and would love to return, we had a great time!

Delayne is the best!!
16 ft campervan
If you're looking for an adventure - look no further!! Delayne's property was so awesome. The main site is large and has a covered picnic area and firepit. Along with that there is a ton of space to spread out. You have the option to backcountry camp or find your own spot among the mowed areas. I wish I had a week here to hike back into the woods and just explore. But because I didn't have all that time - I took an RTV tour instead! Delayne's tour is probably the coolest thing I've done at a Hipcamp. You can opt for as much adrenaline as you want but you'll also get very cool history of the property, education about local flora and fauna, and last but not least - you get to pan for your own gems!!! The property is home to a stream that produces several gems but coolest of all - rubies! This was hands down my favorite part. I highly recommend adding that on! Thank you so much Delayne for everything! Truly an awesome host!! (:
