Park by the Sea! Private Camping!
centrally located but need a car
The location was large and it was nice to have the cement slab to level out. It is secure with a fence but would've liked to be able to lock the fence from the inside (only locks from the outside). If you are parked on the cement you will have lots of acorns falling all the time on the top of your rig. Lots of nature activity..... I know, we are camping, but it was a lot and loud from where we were parked on the cement slab. We don't have a car (only ebikes) and the area is not the best for biking. Location is centrally located to Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and Carolina Beach (a little further away). The space was clean & large, we could turn our 26 foot RV around in the space, we had to back out and at a good angle due to the drop in the driveway but it was all good. You are close to a road & there is an apartment complex behind the space so there is action but it was not significantly loud. We never met the host.

Worked for us
Perfect for what we needed. Dogs loved it.
Electric and sewer on the same said would have benefited us, as we have a 1960s camper. But over all great time. Would rent again. Loved the tall fence.
Park by the Sea! Private Camping!
We enjoyed our time. It was private and close to everything. The mosquitos and roaches were everywhere near the wooded area next to the shed, we had them flying and crawling all over our site each night which wasn’t the best, I would recommend treating that. We also did have difficulty getting parked, exiting, and emptying our sewer we want to ensure people are aware of. If you have a smaller camper or a van this may not be an issue. I have a 26 foot jayco and had to pull in forward and then maneuver a tight backup around the electric pole. The electric is on one side of the pad and the water and sewer is on the other side / up above near where the front of the camper is. Once parked you have to have a longer hose for water (they did provide one) and at least 3 sewer connections to reach the sewer. The issue we had was that the sewer inlet is raised an extra foot or so off the ground so the length of the pipe from camper to outlet made it difficult to run effectively with it being raised and not at ground level from so far away. No way around this with where it’s located. We had to move to do this. Getting out on the street is also tight as you have to back up into the small side road and back out at an angle. We managed with no major issues but will likely not return due to the complexities involved in set up and take down / exiting and entering. There is also a college house that had loud parties on both weekend nights directly across the street.

A Lovely, Private Camping Spot
We had a 20ft RPOD camper and a family of three including an 18 month old. This camping spot was perfect for us, the fenced in yard offered privacy and safety for our toddler that most campgrounds are severely lacking. It was easy to find and access. The power and water worked perfectly and the host was helpful in answering questions! The location is very convenient! I highly recommend!

Nice surprise
We chose this place last min (as we decided to extend our travels one more day) and we were very pleased with it. Good location (central to everything) and had all utilities avail (electric, water, sewer). Additionally it’s very private, spacious, and easy to access with great directions/instructions provided by host.
