land is in mountains. 15 miles south of city of Bl. Mountain. There are 2 tent decks on 2 acres of secluded, pristine woods that is 1/2 mile away from state park and Eagle Rock. There is mountain bike trail or hiking that curves down to the back of Lake Lure. Or bring gear and Mt. climb to the pinnacle of Eagle rock. You can drive to the Eagle Rock parking lot or bike from camp site There is fire pit and fire wood. Many other great hiking trails in the vicinity like Rumbling Bald mountain. HidePitch your tent on a deck that is south facing in secluded woods. Complete privacy from the house below. Awesome silence for meditation, bird watching with comfort of many good size trees. Road ends 1/2 mile past the land so very little traffic. At the end of road is car trail leading to wilderness parking lot and start of walk to Eagle Rock.

It was a great place with a lot of privacy. There was a small hike to get to the tent spots but it was really pretty out there.

Awesome spot in the trees

Awesome spot! The area is secluded and private within a beautiful tree canopy. The hike up to the sites is uphill, but not too difficult to transport gear from the car. The platforms are a great touch and kept everything drier and cleaner than on the ground. Excellent host - helpful and easy to contact! We will definitely be back!
