I’m a dispersed camper from the PNW, so I like to get lost in the woods with no connection to the outside world. This is not a site for me, but will work for a lot of campers. It’s a good spot if you are new to camping or have young children interested in camping, or need a quick layover. There are many positives: The hosts are gracious and solicitous. The sites are clean and organized. The creek bed is great, shallow enough to feel safe with young children. There are a few negatives: There is a steep trail down to the sites. This is still is someone’s backyard, also, so there is a lot of external noise: traffic, neighbors, a train, so it’s not an escape to nature. The farm animals are a great distraction, though. There’s still a WiFi connection, whether you view that as a positive or negative.
