Great spot for if you're road tripping and need a stop, or want access to a creek. I was there right before 4th of July weekend, so neighbors were a bit noisy until about 9-10pm, but after that it's pretty quiet.
Woke up to a coyote in my truck bed, that was pretty interesting. As soon as I turned on a light he booked it, but that was a fun 3am suprise.

In the country, but not for me.
Tent · With pets
This site just wasn’t for me. It’s located right by the road between two private homes and there is no creek at all when it hasn’t rained- no place to swim at all. I didn’t really feel comfortable walking down the creek bed because it runs quite literally right by people’s homes. The hiking “trail” wasn’t marked except for one sign pointing towards the dried up creek bed. There was a gully where water runs down the mountain side when it rains, that might have been it? There is no cell service at all at the property, but I did pick up some when I hiked up the mountain across the creek bed behind the property. The owner, Gina was wonderful to communicate with and had freshly mowed the grass. The outhouse was very clean and nice.

21 ft pop-up camper
Our stay at Camp Creek was very pleasant. The creek was right behind us and the camping area was nice. We were the only ones there which was nice, the camping area is one big field so there would not be much privacy if others were camping but lots of space. We did have a hard time getting there, so if you use Google maps beware, Spunk Run Rd. is closed. Me and my dogs very much enjoyed exploring the creek and relaxing by the fire.

Definitely coming back!
14 ft travel trailer
We had a restful retreat here at Gina’s. Exactly what we were looking for. The hiking trail is long and steep enough but not far with little secret spaces to camp in. I’m thinking of camping further out next time. I think the trail would also be really cool to mountain bike on. The creek is clear and beautiful to listen to at night and in the morning. Lots of birds singing and leaves rustling. The creek also has a few deeper spots to cool off in and some nice size rocks to bask in the sun. We brought our dogs and they had such a fun time exploring. Love the large fire pit. The outhouse was convenient and new.
I’m excited to come back!
