Most of the property is an operating sheep ranch and consists of woodland, ponds, and pasture. I also grow fruits and veggies on about a half-acre of garden that expands every year. The campsite is relatively private and sits beneath mature oaks on the west end of the property, which includes 7 acres of mature woodland and a spring-fed creek.A great place to slow down, Casey Jones’ Curve offers a modern campsite in an agrarian landscape. Located in the middle of Delaware County, you will be close to Grand Lake, MidAmerica Outdoors, Lake Eucha, Flint Creek, and the Illinois River. There are also thousands of acres of native lands open for horse-back riding, biking, and hiking. Camp is just 4 miles from swimming holes and fishing around Brushy Cove. Or spend the day on the ranch and explore the spring fed creek just a short hike down the hill.

Beautiful little spot off the beaten path. Really enjoyed our stay. Owner was very pleasant and so was his dog… who became good buddies with us especially after he had a few hot dogs 😉

Great spot! Quiet and easy to find. Michael was very hospitable. There was level ground for tents, a nice fire ring, and there was a camper there for us to use the bathroom in. We'll come back, and I look forward to finding my way to the creek next time.
