Nestled in the woods in the beautiful Northumberland County rolling hills is our private, cozy oasis ready for your relaxing stay. You will park in a designated spot on our property and walk about 600 feet down a path in the woods leading the cabin. The cabin is off-grid but powered with solar for your minimal power needs (solar power capacity tripled in 2022!). The cabin is open concept with plenty of windows including a large picture window so you can feel at one with nature. The cabin is an airy 16' x 20' open concept space with a comfortable couch that converts to a gel memory foam double bed. Two Roots club chairs overlook the picture window so you never miss the wildlife, and a bar height table and stools serve as a table surface. There is an indoor composting toilet in a separate room. There is no running water in the cabin, but there is clean water via a water jug and pump and a wash basin. The deck is equipped with 2 bistro patio tables and chairs and a BBQ. There is NO open fire permitted of any kind, inside or outside the cabin.
The cabin is on our property located about 500 feet from the house, but nestled in the woods and completely private. We are here to help you if needed.
There are lots of walking trails within a short drive, or walk on our quite country road is like a trail in itself. We are also in close proximity to 3 golf courses, and just outside the villages of Warkworth and Castleton.

Stephanie’s cabin is beautiful and very clean. The walk down to the cabin is nice too. Stephanie was a very communicative, accommodating, and kind host.
