Sit on the covered porch no matter the weather and enjoy the sounds and scenes of nature! This is the ideal place to come, unwind and just be a part of nature. Your views will be of trees, mountains and creeks. The cabin is far enough away from our home so you will have privacy and seclusion. It is a short but very uphill hike from the parking area. When you arrive, feel free to find your way up to the cabin. You may want to pack light as it is a bit of a hike! Linens and blankets will be provided for the King size bed. The cabin is constructed from local trees we've harvested using our sawmill as well as Redwood and Douglas Fir salvaged from an old water tower deconstructed locally on the mountain. This is the perfect rustic, quiet and private retreat for all seasons. We now have a King size bed in the cabin for up to 2 people. This is a one of kind rustic experience. We provide all of the firewood needed for the cabin. Longer stays at a discounted price for those engaged in creative projects will be considered...please message me.Crystal Creek Cabin is located under large Cedar trees on our 80 acre property adjoining the Mt. Hood National Forest. Sit on the covered porch no matter the weather and enjoy the sounds and scenes of nature! This is the ideal place to come, unwind and just be. Inside the cabin is a wood stove for keeping warm during the cold months. This is an off grid cabin...however we have a Honda generator that can be used for lights and electrical plug-ins or go without electricity and use the lantern and candles provided. There is also a fire ring for campfires as well as a large pick-nick table. The cabin is constructed from local trees we've harvested using a sawmill as well as Redwood and Douglas Fir salvaged from an old water tower deconstructed locally on the mountain.  This is the perfect rustic, quiet and private retreat for all seasons. *Keep in mind there is a very uphill 5-10 minute walk to the cabin from where you'll park (pack accordingly and pack light).  Please arrive during daylight hours or bring lighting to guide your way (headlamps or flashlights) the path is sparsely lit. No plumbing inside the cabin (outhouse solely for the cabin). A water cooler is provided for drinking water. We also have a water spigot outside but the water is not drinkable. NEW ADDITIONS if you've stayed with us before: We no longer have the twin beds or mattress in the loft. We've added a King size bed for accommodations up to 2 people.

Mt Hood...Crystal Creek Cabin
This was the best spot ever. Cabin had everything you needed and the layout was so well thought out and planned. Bathing in the stream was a highlight. We hope to be lucky enough to be back.

Thank you!
We had a very relaxing time. The roaring creek within a few feet of the cabin made for good night sleep. One of the pups from the property hung out with us for a morning and she was very sweet. We packed a little more than we should've and the hike in was a bit of a challenge so do keep that in mind.

It was a lovely stay… would highly recommend if you’re needing to get away and enjoy some peace in nature w/o having to pack all the camping gear.

Dreamy getaway
We had the most relaxing time on this gorgeous property. We brought our two dogs and even though the July temperature reached the 90s, we stayed cool in the shade of the trees. We look forward to staying again.

Slice of Heaven
This was easily the best two way getaway I’ve had in ages! The cabin was cozy, clean, the attention to details were perfect. We had plenty of privacy and space. The constant sound of the creek was the cherry on top. It rained quite a bit but the wood burning stove kept us plenty warm, we barely touched the generator. After a 10 mile day hike in the rain including a visit to Romona Falls the bed in the cabin was absolute heaven. Cannot wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us Rachel 🙏🏽
