Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Private lot in Mt Hood's Rhododendron community, right next to the Sandy River. This is in a small dead end residential neighborhood, mixed with full time residences and mountain cabin rentals. Camp 15 does not have any water or bathroom facility and is dry camp only. Power is however, available. Pack it in, pack it out. Great for small campers. Within 15 minutes of Government Camp and Timberline Lodge.Beautiful treed, single campsite along the Sandy River in Mt Hood wilderness area. Close to biking and hiking trails. 15 or less minutes to Timberline lodge and Ski Bowl area. Restaurants and bars are close by. Power available (there is an outlet at the bottom of the wood meter post that you may plug an extension cord into). No water hook up, or toilet area. This area consists of both full time residents and airbnb guests, so dogs should be reasonably quiet and leashed. Please also pick up after your pet. Small fires are ok (wood not supplied), buy only when a burn ban is not in place. With river access but care must be taken as there are boulders on the bank ( this is a 10 foot drop off ) to navigate. Not real easy for kids and pets. Site is best suited for tents and camper vans. Nothing over 20 foot. Suited for maximum 4 people. Please note the the little flags along the river bank that mark the boundary. Camp is about 60 ft wide.

Nice Creek! Poorly kept site. In fact after 75 Hipcamp stays I'm really somewhat offended. Waist high weeds, dry rot old skids laying around and really jammed inside a private neighborhood. Not worthy of a Hipcamp at any price.

Our group had an an emergency and had to cancel our reservation.
The host was understanding and provided a fair cancellation policy.
