We bought little house on the Playa in May 2021. Located in the Alvord desert, at the foot of the Steens Mountain we wake up to breathtaking sunrises, go to bed with breathtaking sunsets and sleep under more stars then most ever dream possible. This is a space full of learning, full of teaching, and full of sharing. We pinch ourselves for this opportunity to live in such beauty, for our chance to share what we learn, share opportunities to explore and share the gift of silence in a magical place. We are a permaculture homestead focusing on regenerative management of the high desert landscape. We have Horses, Cows, Chickens, Rabbits, Dogs, Goats, Fish, and a really big garden!Experience stillness within, as nature shows you stillness from outside. This immersion in nature is an experience of peace. A peace that welcomes the heart to slow down and just be present. At Alchemy Sky Homestead, the experience of a lifetime awaits you. Meet Hebe, our one of a kind converted horse trailer located at the Playas edge, tucked within the High Deserts native shrubs. Whether you are snuggled under the mounds of blankets in the king bed, snuggled up on the loveseat, walking across the playa or sitting quietly on the Playa's edge, we guarantee your experiences here will leave memories of that Peace, forever in your heart. Come experience what Alchemy Sky Homestead and all the Alvord Desert has to offer. We are a 160 acre Permaculture Homestead located on the shore line of the Alvord Desert. An area rich in history. geological uniqueness, and with endless opportunities for exploration, across the vast landscape. But beyond that, Exploration within yourself. Located 3 miles from Alvord Hot Springs, where you can experience another natural wonder of the Alvord Desert. Along with endless trails to explore along the way, just south you will find the historic town of Fields, Oregon. Where we can testify that they do in fact serve world famous milkshakes you must try! Ask about seasonal farm fresh products, free range eggs, fresh produce, Milk, Art and more. On leash. All pets must be leashed behind the fence line as this is a working farm and livestock are present. Dogs are free to roam the Playa off leash! Please pick up your dog's waste.

Bottled water or jugs. 1 gallon of artesian spring water from our geothermal well. It really is as good as it sounds! Free refills. Also ask about ice
