We are located on what used to be one of the stagecoach stops on the Applegate Trail. There is an ancient tree that was if the oral story of the land is accurate, the Trading tree. It was the place where swap meets between the local native tribes would gather and bring their firs, and other goods to trade with the white traders of the time. It's a peaceful place to be, the property backs up to timber property. It feels more isolated than it is. The nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.  Learn more about this land: You can pitch a tent in the middle of 80 acres and feel totally isolated. Wr have a camping area on the front half of the property. Because of storm damage, there's a lot of downed trees and broken limbs further into the land. We are trying to get the land under control but it is slow going. You are welcome to drive up on the dirt road and a quad could be used but there are no riding trails. You can pitch a tent in the middle of 80 acres and feel totally isolated. Good budget spot to camp
This was a nice spot to camp for the night, but it should be noted that there really isn't any flay spot to actually camp here. It's all a meadow on a hill, basically. There are cows spread throughout too. The portapotty is not really usable, and the instructions were not very clear on finding the place. It's like they were written from the perspective of someone working backwards from the location rather than as someone who has never been there before. I needed to use blocks in order to sleep in my van somewhat flat, I think if you don't know that ahead of time you may have a rough night's sleep. I would totally stay here again though, for the price it is really good.

The wife and I got into town late at night and we're having trouble finding a place to camp out for the night. We didn't arrive to the property at almost 10pm and was greated with a smile. We will definitely stay again.

The area was awesome, the hosts were great and very helpful when we got lost. The portapotty was as portapotties are, wasn’t too messy. Thanks for the stay!

Beautiful land and a fun trip. There were other campers but we still had privacy.
