A little haven of warmth and relaxation.
Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters. Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay. The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area. Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here. I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way. Wildlife love it here, I think you will too.I live in the house above the glampimg area for rent. Included is a one bedroom with queen size bed, AC and ceiling fan. Open kitchen and dining area. A private toilet, sink and outdoor shower with privacy. There's plenty of room for tents or van camping along the creek. I don't have a place for RVs or electric hook ups. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner gas flattop grill, toaster oven, Nuwave induction cooktop and small refridgerator and freezer. Water kettle, coffee and french press will be provided. Cowboy style is also an option. Place setting for 6 and most styles of glass ware. Ice for your drinks and cocktails. Salt, pepper and cooking oil. Tastey and chemical free drinking water. Your used dishes and glasses will be collected and returned for your next meal, just enjoy. I'll find anything you may need. Just bring food and drink and any personal items you may need. Closed toe water shoes and a beach towel are reccomended. Bath towels are provided for the bedroom guests but campers will have to bring towels and a camp chair.

Book it!!
Craig was the consummate host! He set up a fire and the wood-burning sauna each evening!! He suggested canoeing on the creek which was super calm and easy. My dog loved the spot and we were able to take a nice walk right from the property. The outdoor shower was nice and hot, the bathroom clean and the bedroom was so cozy at the end of the day. Craig really did go above and beyond to make our stay special- he was very generous with his time and expertise when needed. Thanks Craig! 10/10 would recommend

Craig was the consummate host! His place is beautiful, directly on the creek. So many amenities!! I enjoyed the fire pit, the Wood-Fired sauna and the outdoor (hot) shower. The bedroom was super cozy and zen- soft blankets and comfy mattress. I would 10/10 recommend💚

With kids
We loved our stay on Craig's land—the peace, the tranquility, the attention to detail. I have particular kids, and they loved his space. If you sleep in the guest room or pitch a tent next to the creek, you will not be disappointed. I recommend you bring a fishing pole or take to the water in a canoe or kayak. We will be back.

Uniquely beautiful by the Creek
This "glamp" experience was a nice, last minute surprise alongside a beautiful creek. Much thought and care, by Craig, has been put into the space to make it a step above the usual glamping. Every aspect was clean and all provisions available. He was kind, friendly and helpful in a manner one would expect in a lodge. We took full advantage of all the amenities - the sauna, the outdoor shower, firepit area, unique and creative lighting (non-bug attracting bulbs) and the brick oven to make pizzas. The outdoor kitchen is amazing. The environment was peaceful. For us, the best part was the freedom to canoe the calm, sleepy creek - what a beautiful treat! Wildlife and tranquility. Everything we hoped when it was found. As a note: don't let the nearby drive to reach his property give you cause for alarm (as it did us). Once you are there - the downstairs space and the grounds are simple, but beautiful.
