Wake up to the sounds of beautiful birds while being immersed in the natural environment. The camping area is located whitin beautiful large trees close to a hill which is covered in untouched natural beauty, all located in the heart of the Pioneer Valley. Guests must take all waste with them on departure. There is one flush toilet. Campfires are welcome but must be kept contained and not allowed when restrictions are in place. We have firewood and water available for guests. Pets are welcome but should be kept on a leash while on the property to protect the wildlife. We are located 45 minutes west of Mackay.

Camping with our cat!

Site 3 - Gargett Natural Forest

This is ideal for bush and getting away and having your own privacy. We loved staying here and enjoyed the peace. And our cat Daisy kissed on of the horses, they come for the odd carrot and are so friendly. We also saw the Ulysses butterfly, what a treat and an amazing creature. Daniel and his family are so friendly, they quickly go the chainsaw out when we need to remove a tree and have really gone the extra mile for us, Would be back for sure!!!

A perfect secluded bush camp! Ideal for an over night stop. Follow directions and continue for another approx 200m and turn left onto the next rd, take the left hand driveway with the 2 tree stumps at the gate.
