A little haven of warmth and relaxation.
Sunset Heaven & Spa, standing 550m above sea level in the heart of Tamborine Mountain with breathtaking view.At sunset time, you can enjoy the fantastic beauty of nature as the sun melts into the depths of the mountains. The sky changes from pale blue to dark blue, and the horizon changes from vibrant golden to orange, and you’ll forget that you are in this world during the twilight time. Makes you feel like you’re in Heaven! After sunset, a sky full of stars appears there. The countless glittering stars are just natural planetariums. On sunny nights, especially near the new moon, the entire night sky becomes a sea of stars. Feel the eternal flow of time under all the constellations, the Milky Way, the nebulae, and the shooting stars found in the Southern Hemisphere. As the sun rises, there is a morning mist coloured by the sunrise. After enjoying breakfast in the magnificent nature, stroll through the nearby mountains and beautiful rainforests. There are 6 trekking courses in the tambourine, so you’ll have ultimate freedom in choosing your favourite trekking course. This property is where you can experience nature, the earth, and the universe with all five senses, away from the busy daily life and hustle and bustle. Why don't you return to the origin of human beings from the bottom of your heart by putting yourself in nature and be healed by the splendor of the universe and the connection with Mother Earth? Paradise on earth.A place to regain inner peace. That is Sunset Heaven Ryokan.Power is back on 3rd January 2024 after Christmas tornado and new year storm!!!! And please check if your car is possible to climb up steep hills. Roads are enough wide. But need power to climb up. Henri Robert drive is steep but close to our area. It says “truck bus must use low gear” in the middle. (From ex69 of M1) Most less steep road is oxenford Mount Tamborine road. From Ex 57 of M1. Mount Tamborine road from canungra is not suitable for caravans, trailers. So if your car is huge and not enough power, don’t use mount Tamborine road. Use oxenford mt Tamborine road from ex57 of M1. Sunset Heaven & Spa, standing 550m above sea level in the heart of Tamborine Mountain with breathtaking view.At sunset time, you can enjoy the fantastic beauty of nature as the sun melts into the depths of the mountains. Please check that day’s sunset time on mountain on google, and I recommend you to arrive at least 30 minutes before sunset time as you will miss beautiful sunset & twilight time. Twilight time is 25 minutes after sunset time. It’s pity to miss this beautiful time on our property. That is Sunset Heaven & Spa. Exclusive site as we only offer one site where no one else will be around you.  Installed 15amp out door power point at site. Leave no trace . There is an outdoor toilet available for your usage. Water is available in main house outdoor deck area. Tea & coffee self service on the deck near infrared sauna. Campfires are not allowed.  You can add 2 hours usage of spa package for $55pp for Infrared sauna,(about 50 degrees?, jacuzzi,(38 to 40 degrees), open rock pool (20 to 30 degrees), shower, bathrobe and towels. And on the second day if you use same bathrobe, $45pp. (Prior use for accomodation guests they usually use from 4pm to 6pm. but it’s time share, so it’s private. You can book between 2pm to 7pm except accomodation guests use time, if no accommodation guests, you can use anytime between 2pm to 7pm) From all of those facilities, you can see amazing view and sunset and twilight. And at night, you can see millions of stars and Milky Way if it’s fine weather. Better not to use mystery road to come up if your car is not so powerful. It’s very steep and narrow. Henri Robert drive is steep but has two ways and wide road. Mount Tamborine road is steep but short and one way controls by traffic light. Mount Tamborine oxenford road is less steep but long way. Suitable for not so high powered car. And also we don’t know about your power of your car, we can’t have responsibility to the payment for towing. Please judge by yourself to drive to the parking site if your car has enough power to drive non concreted road by your own large caravan. If you think you cant, please park top of the hill near accommodation. But just park avoiding the window of accommodation.

Really disappointed in the fact none of the reviews mentioned how close the main road was to where you camp. All I could hear was trucks and motorbikes late at night and early in the morning. The views are really stunning though. Be aware that there is not a lot of flat ground to camp on, and the house is quite close.

We stayed one night at the property in our camper van. Camp spot is flat and nicely positioned under a tree. There is access to power if needed and the bathroom is up at the house. Amazing view of the valley and we made use of the spa which was a perfect end to our day.
