We have 40 acres, with 20 acres of uncleared bushland, and ample space for you to bring your own horse. You'll find yourself almost 4km up a quiet dirt road, surrounded by the tranquility of old cane farms and current cattle properties. The location is close to tracks leading from Hervey Bay through Takura to Maryborough, as well as the old Telecom Line on Old Toogoom Rd, offering exciting 4x4 adventures. Feel free to bring your own electric tape or yard for your horse. Dundowran Beach, which is only 10 minutes away, provides horse riding access. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. This site serves as an ideal base for cyclists, horse riders, and hikers! Whether you prefer a lightly or more heavily treed area, the choice is yours for setting up your tent, rooftop, caravan, swag, or horse float. Bring your pushbike, as there are plenty of tracks within the Takura region. Access all backroads/dirt to Vernon State Forest, with convenient locations like Telcom Towers off Toogoom Cane Road and easy access to the Mary to Bay Trail from Torbanlea-Pialba road. Dundowran Beach, just 10 minutes away, even allows horse access. Situated almost 4km up a road that is half-length dirt, the location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by acreage. You'll camp on the bottom 20 acres of the property, while the owners reside on the other 20. For horses, please bring your electric fencing or yards. There's one spare paddock available in emergencies, though it has some yabbie holes, so it may not be ideal for horses not used to bush paddocks. Guests are required to be fully self-contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on a leash.
