Welcome to Katz retreat - a church, old renovated church school for a BnB, glamping ground currently under construction, farm animals, goats, chickens and sheep, more variety to move in. The property is close to North and South Flinders rangers and the Mount Remarkable, and stream train country. A evolving business to include parking for caravans. Visit the flinders ranges north and south, see country SA, great sunsets, farm animal experience, coal train visits, see operational small farm townships, nearby country pubs, close to multiple small towns.

Beautiful property lovely views with awesome animals kat is very friendly and always up for a chat. Kids loved it we had a great time would definitely go back.

High recommend. We got everything we need. Electricity, hot shower, plates for cooking. Farm animals are super cute and friendly. Kathrine and Paul are easy to like and make friends with.

Good camping set up

Katz Retreat

Everything was lovely. Loved the place and the animals around. The camping area set up is nice. The concern for us were the prickles around the grass area. I wouldn’t recommend taking a dog - we needed to keep ours inside the car. The other option is putting shoes to your dog. Apart from that, it is a nice place to chill or a spot to stay overnight and explore Mt Remarkable.

The host was super accommodating and we couldn’t fault her. She arranged for our son to feed the animals with her in the morning and then for her friend to bring a horse down for the kids to ride. Truly amazing! Only downside was the prickles on the lawn area, they punctured the underside of our camper trailer tent. We were lucky to have a child old enough to understand not to touch the ground.
