An oasis in the midst of everything
14 ft campervan
Loved the campsite. It was secluded, plenty of space and perfect for a relaxing 2 night camp. Jeff, the host, was very welcoming and I had a very enjoyable long conversation with him before leaving. He's a great guy and I will definitely be returning when given the opportunity.

Jeff welcomed us and made us feel at home. His place is quiet and easy to get settled and exit. I would stay again.

Awful!
4 ft travel trailer
A lot must’ve changed since the previous people reviewed this site. When we arrived, it was a large construction site. We were showed where our RV would park, which was in a little nestled in a little wooded area connected to the construction site. We were told to be careful that trucks would be coming and going. There was a fair amount of garbage in the woods. It just didn’t feel nice or safe. Even though we paid for the site we left. This is the first time in eight years we have ever written a negative review on any campground or left, especially for a paid site.

Charleston Retreat
21 ft campervan
This was an excellent place for us to stay as we explored the Charleston area. The property was private and we felt very secure during our stay here. The host, Jeff, met us at the gate when we pulled in. He was very amiable and gave us good tips about the area. The driveway onto the property was a dirt and gravel mix. Despite the recent rains, our campervan had no problems driving in and out of our camping spot. The camping spot itself had a nice large and level gravel pad to park on. We heard owls hooting both nights of our stay. You wouldn't know that you we in the midst of a suburban setting. The location is very close to the Historic Charleston District. Only about a 15 to 20 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us to this area again.

This is an open field with a level gravel pad, dry camping for $45 per night, a bit pricey. However the location is 15 min away from central Charleston which is the justification for the price I guess. The property care taker, Jeff is quite the B.S.’er but a nice guy.
