Nestled against the 96,000-acre Cataoosa Wildlife Management Area is our quiet, 20-acre wooded, off-grid cabin camping experience drenched in nature. The cabin easily sleeps 4, with a pull-out futon to support one additional guest. The beautiful covered porch is the best spot to hang out, observe the local wildlife, listen to the sounds of the creek, and enjoy the mountain breeze. There is an additional sun deck for soaking up the rays during the day, or star watching at night. Situated against Steep Bluff Branch Creek on Luper Mountain in the Crab Orchard, TN, you'll be close to two Cumberland Trail Trailheads and the amazing 110ft Ozone Falls. Our off-grid cabin is a simple nest for entertaining family and friends, playing cards, corn-hole, or just sit around and enjoy the campfire. Be sure to pick up a S’more’s kit. There are so much more to be seen and activities on the Plateau such as hiking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, and off-road 4wheeling just to name a few.You will be sleeping at approximately 1,800 ft above sea level, cooler air, and a frequent breeze off the mountain helps keep things comfortable. A large 20' x 16' covered deck off the bedroom (queen bed) is large enough for all the family to enjoy. A 13' x 24' sun deck gets plenty of afternoon rays. The loft is ideal for children old enough to use a ladder appointed with two twin beds. The full-size futon couch also accommodates an adult in the main living area.

Our stay was very quiet. It’s easy to find but still feels remote. Really bummed there was no power. The outdoor shower and plumbing were great though! The indoor wood stove kept us nice and warm at night.

We had a wonderful stay at such a wonderful location! Our host Shannon was fantastic and our stay had everything we could’ve asked for! The outdoor shower was very nice to use as was all of the facilities. My husband and I as well as our doggo Fin loved the experience and would highly recommend/return.

No power, no water in creeks, no WiFi. Host was great she went above expectations to make us comfortable.

Peaceful Retreat
With kids
Comfort level was extremely high and Shannon herself, held true to the Southern Hospitality I love so much. There will likely be a return visit to enjoy a different seasonal experience in this VERY quiet disconnect.

Peaceful retreat
Very peaceful, very quiet, very close and easy access from highway. This is a great rustic camp experience if you are looking for cabin with lots of comfortable outdoor seating in a peaceful setting. Above average bathroom facilities for a cabin in the woods. Be sure to consider the weather as the cabin does not have climate control and the breeze from the mountain in the description does not cool the cabin on a warm evening. This would be an awesome place to stay in the winter, spring, and fall.
