The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 & 2) with 20- and 30-amp plugs. Depending on the time of year (warmer months) a water container with a limited amount of non-potable water is on site for your use. Please plan on filling your water reservoir prior to arriving at the site. There is also an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire ring. We are located just minutes away from The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other attractions. The graveled camping area is fairly close to Hwy 50 so please expect to hear some road noise. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we can coordinate to have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

Nice spot, felt safe with the gated entrance. Bring earplugs if you're sleeping in a tent! Passing cars are loud.

A small group of friends booked sites 1 and 2 for a weekend at the Caverns. Great view and easy access for an RV and our additional large tent. Convenient to hiking and swimming at Greeter Falls and the Caverns. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Strong cell signal at the site in an area with spotty service, Hope to return soon!

beautiful spot and beautiful view!! super easy for tent campers and people looking to getaway, definitely a change of pace from chicago. definitely will come back!

The spot is absolutely amazing and beautiful, our host was very responsive when I messaged her about trying to get a little bit of firewood from someplace local I didn't have much luck finding any but Sonya at least provided me with a few places to check, for one night of camping we made due with what we gathered locally, it's a bit rocky for just tent camping but was able to gather a few pieces of lumber that was on site to use as an improvised platform for our tent. If I ever go back to the area for another visit I will most definitely try to book this spot again, I'd love to bring my kids there to see the mountains and local waterfalls 👍👍👍 I should note there is water and electric hookup but wasn't able to get water for some reason 🤔 not sure if it was due to operator error (me) or if it just wasn't turned on that early in the season but overall everything else about the site was flawless 👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟 out 5 stars
