We build from the heart with blue prints and Deer Camp was a thought that started on the back of a receipt and grew into a 12x12 cozy cabin. We have 13 acres and we share with that Deer Camp. Only enough land has been cleared for structures so it's all wooded and every structure was built by us and is unique and one of a kind. We are all excited to offer an RV site to park a camper or pitch a tent if you want to bring a couple of friends. There is a separate charge for this. This site does offer electricity but water and the bathhouse are shared. This site is only offered to your group and there will never be campers in that space while you’re there.Glamping at its very finest! All the feels of camping without the work! All you need is your clothes, food, toiletries, and chargers. Deer Camp is a very unique experience that offers a super comfy queen bed to sleep on with high end cotton sheets and a patchwork quilt.  There are two coffee options: 11 cup stainless percolator or pour over coffee (the camping Keurig) and hot cocoas. Use the ground coffee or grind your whole beans with the hand grinder. There's a table for two to enjoy your meals at in the air conditioned cabin after you've cooked on the stove or grill, or maybe you roasted something over the open flame of your fire pit.  A relaxing lounger is the perfect place to read or sit in comfy chair next to the gas log fireplace. Entertainment consists of board games and books or binge watching your favorite shows inside the cabin. When night comes, enjoy the new outdoor movie theater (available March through December) in the cozy hammock chairs. Surf the web on high speed internet wifi. And of course, there is campfire where you can make your s'mores, roast hot dogs or whatever other fireside food you enjoy.  Shower in the greenhouse bathhouse. In the warmer season, slide open the windows and enjoy the feel of the outdoors with the Ivan's glass roof and a breeze. In the cold, enjoy the gas log fireplace while showering. Either way, it's a pleasurable experience.

Deer Camp offers a cozy and well-equipped glamping experience, with attention to detail that guests appreciate. Visitors frequently mention the warm hospitality of hosts Mitch and Lori, as well as amenities like a ready-to-go campfire, outdoor kitchen, and movie projector. The setting is described as peaceful and ideal for relaxation, with many guests planning to return. Although a few minor issues, like a TV remote with dead batteries, are noted, they don't seem to detract from the overall positive experience.

Cute and warm spot to relax
Great spot! My husband, pup and I stopped for one night here while road tripping half way across the country in December. Such a cute little one room cabin with every amenity you’ll need. We got in a nearby hike and had a fun little night in relaxing in front of the fireplace. We’ve stayed in $500+ glamping spots where I had to take a cold, one handed shower (pull cord) and get up at 3 am to stoke the fire. This was sooo much better! We had wifi, a warm room and the bath house was almost hot. I would love to come back in the fall and enjoy the outdoor movie theater, fire pit and more hiking destinations. Bonus: we saw a deer as we were driving out of deer camp!

With kids
Our stay at Deer Camp was fantastic! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a ready-to-go campfire, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. Cooking outdoors was a highlight, with all the necessary amenities provided—just bring the food! While I grilled steaks, my son enjoyed outdoor movies, creating a perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment. Deer Camp's serene atmosphere made for quality family time, and we're already planning our next visit, this time with my wife. Thanks, for a memorable getaway!
