Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in. It is a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for car camping, RVs, tent, and hammock camping. There are fire pits and picnic tables at each site with enough room for tents and RVs. Most sites have trees suitable for hammock camping all along the creek. There is potable water, firewood for sale, solar showers, and a bike wash stand all next to the covered communal area. Each standard site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. Sites 10 and 13 can each accommodate 6 guests. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Sites 1, 2 and 3 are off the main path to the left of the property, and still by the creek. Sites 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are all along the creek and gravel drive Site 10 is very private with creek access on three sides. Site 11 is private with creek access all along the front. Site 12 is up high on a hill, and Site 13 is open in the middle of the meadow.

#12 - Hilltop Meadow Site
Low Meadow Farms Camp was super peaceful, with everything well-kept and tidy. The hosts were great at communicating and made everything easy. It felt secure, and being so close to downtown was a huge bonus. I’d definitely recommend it and plan on coming back.

Absolutely perfect fall getaway!
Our campsite at Low Meadow Farms in Knoxville was absolutely perfect for the 4 days we were there. The colors were glorious, the stream was perfect for cold plunging and the little hill beside us was perfect for star gazing! The Orionids Meteor Shower didn't disappoint. ✨️🍁🍂 we stayed in campsite 11 and it was perfect for just me and my husband. We do plan on going back with more people to campsite 10, it was absolutely glorious with the way it put you in a little cocoon of trees and the stream. Each night we would walk up to campsite 12 and star gaze. It had to most epic views of the stars. We met a sweet lady, Kitty and her dog Remi on our first night and invited her to our campfire to warm up. We were very pleased and loved they had a place to pay for firewood. 🥰 The portapotty was clean! There are a few cats that we saw roaming around that came to say hi. One of the hosts recommended us to 71 South for dinner and it was amazing! I will also say make sure you stop at Aretha Frankensteins for breakfast one day. The blueberry manage and pancakes are the best pancakes I've ever had! It's not a far drive and very worth it.

Nice and quiet, and close to town
My wife and I just stayed here for a weekend away, no kids. Low Meadow Farms was fantastic. Our site was right on the creek, it was quiet and peaceful, and just the relaxing weekend we needed. Aaron, the site owner was extremely friendly and told us about several things going on close by that all sounded wonderful, but we never left the site. Looking forward to our next stay here.

Very pleased
Great campsite area The campsite areas are placed far enough away from each one so you don’t feel crowded The area is very clean and upkeep of the land is exceptional Very quiet and peaceful Plus there are areas to go hike or bike that are close I met Aaron and he was very nice and friendly The campsite offers firewood for a price Has water and probably the cleanest porta potty I’ve ever been in I would highly recommend this place
