Briers Primitive Camping is about a half-mile thru two pastures off of FM 244. Some pasture, some woods, creek, gullies--lots to explore. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent in a field or deep in the woods. Explore pasture, brushy areas, gullies, washouts, creek bed. Practice orienteering. Hike in the woods. Cut firewood and build a fire. Primitive camping for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, or others who just want to get away for a night, a weekend, or longer. Had a peaceful weekend at Gary’s place. The spot was quiet, spacious, and just what I needed to unwind. Gary was welcoming and made sure everything was set for a comfortable stay. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing escape.

This was my husband & my second time staying on the property and it was just as great as the first time!! There were several other campers this time, but there is so much space that we still found a secluded spot that felt like it was just us on the grounds. We will definitely be staying again soon.
